Step 1
Preheat the oven to the temperature indicated on the pizza dough package.
Step 2
Roll out the pizza dough and place it on a baking sheet.
Step 3
Slice tomatoes and fresh mozzarella into even rounds.
Step 4
Arrange tomato and mozzarella slices on the pizza dough.
Step 5
Tuck fresh basil leaves between the slices.
I'm usually not a fan of cooking, but this was fun and rewarding.
I made a few substitutions based on what I had, and it worked great.
I'm a vegetarian and this recipe adds variety to my meals.
